Sierra Leone: LAJ attacked in Aberdeen

Famous Sierra Leonean musician, Alhaji Amadou Bah, aka LAJ, is again attacked at Aberdeen and presently receiving treatment.

LAJ, a strong supporter of the All Peoples Congress, was arrested over the weekend and detained for hours in Freetown, days after the APC lost the presidential election to the SLPP.

LAJ Da Boss or Boss Da Laj, known for his famous Song “Money Na Bank“.

Supporters of LAJ had claimed his arrest could be connected to his public support for the APC.

With thousands of fans throughout the country, his arrest is being viewed as an attempt by the government to silence critics and to send a message to the others.

His attack in Aberdeen has again raise concerns about the intention of supporters of the SLPP, despite the president’s warning he will not tolerate indiscipline.
