President Determined To End Ebola

10341975_10204554851283514_6907925568717306999_nPresident Dr Ernest Bai Koroma has intensified his nationwide social mobilisation drive for community involvement and ownership of the fight against Ebola by visiting Kailahun and Pujehun districts to commend them on the one hand, for their resilience and efforts in fighting the epidemic, and to be vigilant and avoid complacency, on the other.

This is the fourth time the president is visiting Kailahun since the outbreak of Ebola in the district.

According to the Minister of State -East Maya Kaikai, the visit of President Koroma to the district is an indication of the love the president has for the people of Kailahun

He commended President Koroma and other International partners for their tremendous support towards the fight against the waning virus.

It is worthy to note that Pujehun, for example, has gone for 113 days without recording a single confirmed case of Ebola.

Kailahun has also gone for 100 days without recording a single case of the Ebola virus disease.
